Darker nights are creeping in… no capes, no Batmobile, but your trusty Safer Neighbourhood Team are keeping watch! |

This week I have been protecting some of the vulnerable people in our area I have conducted visits on victims of domestic violence who have had Domestic Violence Protection Orders (DVPO) placed on them by police. These make the offending person need to leave an address and have no contact for up to 28 days. These are something the police use to help give a victim some space to seek some longer term support. If you would like more information then please let me or the team know. We can also give advice about where to get a non molestation order, which are civil order you can apply for which can last much longer then a DVPO. I need ongoing support - Women’s Aid ManKind Initiative - Supporting Male Victims of Domestic Abuse
I have also been involved in some multi agency meetings and anti social behaviour meetings, this week, about certain people and places to try and help make areas better. #SafeCommunity On 01/10 I have started the month with two Traffic Offence Reports (TOR) for traffic offences including not having the correct driving license, no insurance and not displaying registration plates. I have continued to try and keep our roads safer with two vehicle seizures today, 03/10.
I have seen this motorbike driving and on stopping it, I have found out it has been reported stolen. This has now been recovered by police and can hopefully make it back to the rightful owner. This investigation is still on going. Thank you to fellow Safer Neighbourhood Teams from NORTH AND EAST, TOWN CENTRE and STOURPORT who came to assist me with this.
This Vehicle has been seen driving in KIDDERMINSTER with no insurance. This has been successfully stopped and seized with the driver getting a TOR for driving with no insurance.
#KeepingRoadsSafe #DriveLegal Remember that the nights are getting darker and criminals are more likely to try car door handles on these dark nights. Remember to lock your cars! CCTV is good to help catch the criminals but lights that come on are a good preventative, Baddies hate being in the spot light. For security advice please get in touch. Interesting facts for the day: It is Chubby Checker birthday today, making him 84 years old. We can thank him for the classic dance move “THE TWIST” from the song with the same name. if ever there was a time to get up and have a little boogie. Talking about moving your body, it is also National Body Language Day. Recognizing the importance of nonverbal communication. Big smiles and open posture all the way. Even in this rainy storm Amy.
Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe I will see you all on Tuesday 7th OCTOBER 2025 for my next set. As always you can still contact me and I will get in touch when I’m back or contact one of my colleagues for help and advice. Remember all 999 in an emergency and remember the online reporting is a great way to report non emergency crimes. | ||||
